Adele Pardini was barely four years old when she miraculously escaped execution. Her sister, Siria, aged nine, was also saved by being in the camp with her father on that fateful day. This atrocity was not an isolated event, but was repeated in other villages in Tuscany and throughout Italy. Adele and Siria told me their story. How to tell this tragedy?
